Ok, so this is the perfect example of something that will never happen to say, someone like jez, see, i snapped "A", "one" "una" photo only of this lady on the street to later look at my screen and realized i got her with her eyes closed. Jez, will have gotten her with her eyes closed but also at least 10 more shots the second right after - or before - hehe with her eyes wide open. wont happen next time i promise :)

She looks like shes in deep squishy thoughts or just wondering why Blackberries dont have half decent web browsers. Good capture.

This is an example of capturing a perfect moment in time, frozen forever. I think the fact she has her eyes closed makes this shot special. You can almost see the wheels turning in her mind, or at the very least, it allows the view to draw their own conclusions, create their own story. Fantastic street candid. One of my favourites.

well, at least with this one, she looks like she's in a deep trance.. :D

Look at those biceps. Jazzy Jez wouldn't have gotten ten extra shots of her. Once she opened her eyes and saw him trying to snap another photo, she would have punched him in the eye :-)

Always sucks when that happens. Still a neat photograph, though, with the urban atmosphere in the background.

:-) :-) ;-) ...
(in this pic she looks really tall ... it's nice to see a pretty girl, even with eyes closed, without all the heavy makeup like some of the girls in previous pics)

I think you are right Lynda...... she would have punched me ....only Amin can move in on the ladies and not take a physical beating when he is this close up.....hehehehe...... he is the one with the cheeky charming smile.....but its true if I do go for it....... I go for it.... I never .... almost never... shoot images as singles..... with people..... in reportage or portrait scenarios..... i like to shoot in bursts of at least 2 or 3 sometimes 30 or 50...... hehehe..... I always tell amin off for just shooting one image...... these eyes are interesting...... but I would certainly like the option to think about using different images from the burst when editing.......... Cheers guys Jez XXXXX
PS...... I am still kicking back at my folks place in Britain

Hey Jez, remember telling me in Boston that it's best to shoot tons of pics and not just singles? True to your word, you out snapped me. And I was rather snap happy in Boston :-) Amin should just dive in, stick the camera in their face, and snap away. Even though it's kinda intimidating. But there is that one magnum photographer who shoots street scenes, people in single shots. I wonder if this ever happens to him? Good to hear that you're relaxing and enjoying time with your folks — but take note, Amin has started to post pics of sad, lonely NYC taxis. Certainly looks like they miss you!!
