update and totally unrelated: it really bothers me some times when the new york times wants to be a smarty pants on certain things. see?...they know why they don't enable comments for an article like this. they know that people like me will eat the shit out of the comment form on a crappy piece of witting like this. its actually insulting that they do enable comments for the anouncement of Castro's resignation and not on this one...
hope you guys remember shophia and one more... one can tell she has grown a lot in the last 6 months... Sophia is the daughter of freddy who is the person on my very first photo and matthias is the little big little big little guy here who is sophias's new little brother.
anywho, the feel on this photo is due to the lighting, the sun was right behind her and the iso was set to something quite high (which was left from the setting used the night before ) hence the wash out-ness and the granny/old feel that i like on this one in particular.

I scanned through the article and saved it for a more detailed read later. although i suspect it'll be removed before too long. the bloggers will pick it up and pick it apart. dubbya is the pot calling the kettle black the way i see it. he's going to make certain it's a fair election? we're sending money we don't have? good grief. what a sweet, little girl sophia is. i wish i could look as happy as she does.
