so this guy comes to me and ask me if i can take a pic of him. I already took about 7 of you, i said to him. so i started to show him the images i had just taken of him a few seconds before he noticed i had a huge camera with a huge lens. anyways... to shot people in the city its so easy... it can be intimidated but so easy if you just shot.
dude is late... good night.

This has a very nice ambiance....the guy has an interesting face....interesting expression and a kind of textured quality in this light.......I like the hint of catch light in his eye.... what really lifts this for me is the guy behind......he gives it almost an element repeating aspect and certainly a three dimensional aspect that many portraits lack....he is perfectly positioned between those supports.....also the diagonals on the roof and edges of the platform are perfectly bringing you to the face and emphasising 3D aspects..... yeah..... he is perfectly positioned over the vanishing point.......ha......I spend half my life on that platform and never shoot anything that good down there.......nice one bro.....Cheers Jez XX
This is fantastic.....er......only a train approaching could give it an absolute moment in time...... that in really fantastic portraiture needs to be supplied by say a specific expression or laugh......or.....externally by say........ a train approaching........this is your mission should you choose to accept.........hehehe......
